Personal setting and protocols

The Affinity 2.0 permits personalized test configurations to match your clinical needs. It includes a set of tests that may be modified to quickly get you up and running to your own standards and stored for future use.

These user defined protocols are saved under a unique name for easy recall via a drop down menu. This enables multiple users to make test selections that are suitable for their own applications. Larger clinics or dispensing facilities will find this feature useful as these protocols can be downloaded and transferred to these sites over the internet.

  • Audiometry (basic audiometry & a wide range of specialized tests)
  • Real-ear measurements with optional Visible Speech Mapping
  • Hearing Instrument testing

The Skull Simulator SKS10

For many years, clinicians prescribing bone anchored hearing instruments have raised the question: “How can I check that the bone anchored hearing instrument is functioning as it should?”

Since there was no way of checking the devices, many bone anchored hearing instruments may have been unnecessarily replaced, creating a frustrating situation for both the patient and the clinician.

Printouts and reports – design your own

Design your own print templates with the Print Wizard adding elements from audiometry (e.g. tone and speech audiogram) as well as elements from REM or even other Interacoustics Suites (e.g. impedance and video otoscopy).

The built-in Report Editor functions as a place for holding comments. The function can be used as both a summary page and a place for important test observations.

The written report is saved with the test results and made available whenever the session is recalled.
